Hello Everyone:

 

Welcome to the June newsletter.   

 

Don't be surprised if you find yourself reminiscing about the past and day dreaming about the future, over the course of the next five days....when 'Neptune' energies are magnified.   

 

On our evening walks, we've really enjoyed seeing the brilliance of Jupiter and Venus in the skies.  An actual side by side look at Jupiter-Venus (when they're conjunct in Leo), can be witnessed June 28- July 3.  If you were ever inclined to 'wish upon a star', this brilliant duo carries multiple blessings - so here's your chance!

Sawyer Fredericks

Sixteen year old Sawyer Fredericks won the hearts of NBC's The Voice 'followers' this season.  His innocent-mystical aura and 'presence of being' was not lost on the audience, who voted him the winner of the Season.  Working his way past his shyness, he looked so comfortable on stage, guitar in hand - a reincarnation of John Lennon, I wonder?

Sawyer, who has written over 30 songs, lives on his family's farm in Fultonville, New York.

His date of birth (March 31, 1999) indicates he was born on a blue Moon (second full moon in the month) in the sign of Libra.


A few highlights of Sawyer's Astrology:

His Sun-Jupiter conjunction in Aries, gives him a mixture of a little boy look, and an old soul feeling, along with a preference for keeping things simple, in perspective, being incredibly present in the moment, and trusting in the flow of life.

Ireland votes 'yes'

What could possibly be taking place in Ireland's chart that its residents give a big 'yes' to permit  same-sex marriage?

Whenever anything 'revolutionary' takes place, be it within an individual, in connection with a 'cause', or within a community, city or country, the planet 'Uranus' is most likely the most prominent transiting planet.   This planet stands for social, political and religious freedom, and places a very high value on  progressive thinking.

In Northern Ireland's chart in May, there is a double Grand Trine - talk about moving things forward.

Uranus conjuncts its Ascendant (Aries), trines it's idealistic Neptune (Leo) and purposeful Sun-Mercury conjunction in Sagittarius.

Jupiter conjuncts its Neptune in Leo, trines it's Aries Ascendant and trines it's Sun-Mercury conjunction in Sagittarius.

Insight into the Transformative nature
  of Chiron in Pisces   


 

The asteroid/comet, Chiron, was discovered in 1977.  While the astrological community at large is still observing how Chiron is experienced by the individual and how it operates within the collective, it is generally considered that Chrion, known as the 'wounded healer' is connected with the deepest of human experience:  the  'wound' experienced when we feel separate from Source.

Part of Chiron's experience when in the sign of Pisces, is to propel us toward living with more constancy and consciously from the experience of, and in oneness with our heart and soul.  Coming from this experience allows us to carry more compassion, love, light, a stronger connection to our intuition, a deep respect for Universal law and a greater love and understanding of each other and the Divine.

Letting go of the small self and entering into the vastness of the universal self, involves a shift in consciousness.  This highly transformational process can often be emotionally challenging.  It involves great faith and surrender.  

Chiron has just arrived at 22 degrees of Pisces.  It will remain at this degree through the summer of 2015 and will return April of 2016, through March of 2017.

 

In 1925, astrologer Dr. Marc Edmond Jones, and clairvoyant, Elsie Wheeler worked together on a project: to create a channeled 'message' for each of the 30 degrees of each of the 12 signs.  This body of works became known as the Sabian Symbols.

The sabian symbol for 22 degrees of Pisces is:,

"A prophet carrying tablets of the New Law is walking down the slopes of Mount Sinai".  

This sounds like a course we'd like to sign up for!  To understand the new way forward for life on planet earth, and not to mention, our part in it all. 

On a personal note, Chiron has been conjuncting my Pisces Moon for almost a year now.  When it first hit the actual degree of my Moon, I was drawn by necessity into some very deep emotional work.  The re-arranging of this most 'Piscean' part of me, has been quite the journey, but the deeper awareness it brings, has been well worth it.

Of the books I've read on Chiron to date, I feel that the work of Adam Gainsburg, who wrote: Chiron - The Wisdom of a Deeply Open Heart, is exceptionally good.

With reference to Chiron in connection to the natal Moon, and speaking of the alchemic effect as 'Sacred Medicine', he writes:

 
 
  " Thus far, we've alluded several  times to where Chiron  
     (and the Moon) evolutionary leads us, calling it at one 
     point, scared medicine.  For us, medicine refers to  
     earned wisdom, or life-changing increases of  
     consciousness by successfully contacting and  
     integrating any fear, trauma or self-denial which  
     directly correlates to the original wounding experiences.

There are several 'oppositions' between planets taking place around this Full Moon, which can result in the energies feeling 'spacy' and 'scattered'.  However, once we reach the evening hours, things really begin to flow, as a Grand Trine in fire takes hold.  This can be very replenishing and rejuvenating for the Spirit!

Everything happens fast around this New Moon, especially because it conjuncts the energy and action oriented planet, Mars in the early morning.  Keep in mind that this energy is also changeable and mentally busy.  However, we can elect to move forward on ideas and decisions, which we've had waiting on the back burner.
