Hello Everyone

We're right in the middle of our monsoon season in Northern Arizona, and it has really been coming down!  It's been years since we've had such a wet monsoon.  It is nice to see everything so green.  My sage bush is very happy, and so are the bees!

 It has just changed signs, now entering into the water sign
 of Scorpio, where it will be  July 26 - September 13, 2014.

 Mars in Scorpio is a powerhouse of energy.  This
 combination gives us full access to our drive, one pointed
 focus, conviction, determination, and self-discipline.

Linda Ronstadt was awarded the Arts and Humanities Medal by President Obama this week, who noted that he had a crush on Linda when he was younger and first getting interest in the music scene.

It was announced in August of 2013, that Linda had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Aug 1:  Fluttery, changeable emotions can be the name of the game today.

(Libra Moon squares Pluto (Capricorn) at 8:15 am, opposes Uranus (Aries) at 5:45 pm and squares Venus (Cancer) at 8 pm. Mars in Scorpio squares Jupiter in Leo at 3:45 pm)

 

Aug 2:  There's an early afternoon influence, which is conducive to intuitive, positive thinking, but we can also be very invested in getting our way.

Aug 3:  Strong thoughts/emotions can be present as we awaken this morning.  Best to get a little perspective, before laying out our Sunday schedule.

Aug 25:  There's a potpourri of influences today.  The first offers good mental focus/ research oriented combination, which can also be psychologically penetrating and insightful; the second can trigger irritability, impatience and frustration; the third can indicate feelings of being very ungrounded and can make us feel quite tired and restless.

Aug 25:  New Moon in Virgo - see Lunar Activity

 

Aug 25-28:  Challenging 'Venus' influences can create discord in relationships and trigger fear based thinking around financial matters, the latter being triggered by the New Moon energies in Virgo.

 

Aug 26:  This is not a good day to enter into financial or legal agreements/contracts, or to have discussions about finances with significant others.  Very busy mental activity, which is best focused, otherwise it can create worry.

Aug 27:  Power issues and financial strain can come into focus today, not making it especially conducive for collaborative efforts.
