Hello Everyone

We've made it through the intensity of April, and May
is absolutely the best month for taking stock of where we're at with our dreams, goals and plans for the year.

With Mercury in Gemini, Venus in Aries, Mars going direct on May 19th, and a fabulous trine between
Jupiter and Saturn (May 24th), we're on our way to having some clarity about those things which matter most to us! This is the month to check in, before Mercury begins its retrograde (June 7th - July 1st).

On another note, I am really enjoying my new office space in Prescott.

For many living in the United States, given the wild weather patterns of the winter, this will be the first
sign of ongoing sunshine! I hope you manage to get outdoors and enjoy it!

Jupiter, soon to be in the royal sign of Leo, ignites the
passionate heart of the seeker, reminding us of the
inspiration, magic and mystery inherent in the spiritual journey - the Hero's Journey.

In this workshop, we'll turn to the Tarot, to explore the personas of the The Fool, The Magician and the Knight,
their role in the spiritual quest, and how Jupiter in Leo will soon re-enact aspects of each of these archetypes.

Turning to Astrology, I'll also explore how the transit of Jupiter in Leo unfolds collectively, and within the chart of each participant. We'll end with a guided imagery meditation.

Jupiter is getting

ready to change Signs

Jupiter is coming toward the end of its time in the sign of Cancer. It officially moves into the sign of Leo on July 16th.

This is the perfect time to bring closure to those activities which are under the umbrella of Jupiter in the sign of Cancer:

- accepting family members and their choices

- everything to do with the past & healing the past

- making peace with decisions regarding shared family

finances and inheritances

- making peace with what we've had to relinquish

in order to move forward with our lives

- home, location, roots and our tribe

When I was studying astrology, many moons ago, my teacher had us go through our lives and pick out dates and general time frames which proved to be significant for us in some way. When we went back and looked up which planets were transiting our chart, we were amazed by the correlations we discovered. The entire class enjoyed this project so much. Not only was this informational, but for many, a most therapeutic experience.

George Clooney

gets engaged

George Clooney has been known to send women over the edge. Between his killer good looks, great fashion taste, easy going manner, and suave life style - he's considered a 'catch' by all the magazines who watch the rich and famous and want to keep you interested in doing the same.

Well - guess what ladies? He's off the most eligible bachelor list. He announced his engagement this month to human rights lawyer and activist, Amal Alamuddin.

His chart reveals Jupiter has been transiting his 5th house (romance) for about 9 months now.

But the most interesting thing, is that he popped the question while the Grand Cross, which we've all heard so much about, was activating his 13 degree natal Venus (romance planet) in Aries. Wow!

With Uranus and Pluto activating his natal Venus, I imagine he feels under tremendous pressure to expand, transform, and deepen his understanding, commitment and effectiveness in relationships and to take a stand for what he truly believes in (values).

May 7: We may notice some emotional resistance when we first wake up, but as we get moving, it will likely dissipate.

May 8: Some 'dreamy' aspects today may contribute to feeling mentally scattered.

May 10:    Saturn in Scorpio opposes Sun in Taurus, exact at 11:30 am

May 11: Challenging Moon-Venus aspects (and Venus in opposition to Mars) don't make this the optimum time for social interaction, though it is Mother's Day. In the midst of the above aspects, Mercury is in square to Neptune, making it hard to find focus and motivation).

May 12: Good communication influence makes for clarity and momentum this morning.

May 14: This Full Moon in Scorpio (See Lunar Activity), is particularly charged, because of the additional challenging relationship aspects, creating an emotional undercurrent. Seeking time alone today is crucial to emotional well being.
(Moon conjuncts Saturn at 5:00 am. Venus in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn, exact at 10:45 am.

May 15: Upbeat communication influences brings things to a lighter tone today, and help us to be proactive in moving toward that which supports our heart energy.
(Mercury (Gemini) sextiles Venus and Uranus (Aries) from 2:00 - 5:00 pm)

May 17 - 18: From late afternoon on 17th and through late morning on the 18th, influences suggest a possible dilemma between duty (gets chores done) and enjoying unhindered free time.
17th: Capricorn Moon squares Mars in Libra at 4:15 pm and conjuncts Pluto at 11:00 pm.
18th: Moon squares Uranus/Venus in Aries 2:00 - 7:00 am; Venus squares Jupiter at 8:30 am)

May 19: Mars goes Direct (6:30 pm). Those things / ideas on the back burner thrust forward with new vitality.

May 20: Overall, a really good communication day, though we may hit a short term emotional glitch, calling for us to leave things be temporarily, and then hit the reset button.
