Academy Awards:  February 24,  2013

Quevenzhane Wallis is the youngest ever nominee for Best Actress, for her role as Hushpuppy in
Beasts of the Southern Wild

Born on an eclipse, this young lady has Sun, Moon, Jupiter, and Venus
conjunct in Virgo, all opposed by a Mars-Uranus conjunction in Pisces.

This combination would suggest she is true free spirit, imaginative, intuitive, charismatic, a totally captivating presence and highly unpredictable.  She does not shy away from trying her hand at anything.

    ***********************

Anne Hathaway, up for Best Supporting Actress in Les Miserables,

has, what some would call a 'lucky' chart and others might call, good karma.
She has Sun, Jupiter, Venus and Mercury in the 11th house, all conjunct in the sign of Scorpio. This combination brings forth  opportunities, which lead to worldly success, much public attention and which also creates a charasmatic, polished,  self-confident manner.

The planet Uranus, is right on Anne's Sagittarius Ascendant,  so she thrives on change, is intuitive, and knows how to take  advantage of those 'electric' moments.

With a busy Uranus, a Libra Moon in the 10th, and Saturn-Pluto conjunct in Libra, she may have shied away in the past from the 'work' required to sustain personal relationships. However,  with a North Node in Cancer in the 7th house of one-on-one relationships, she is being asked to trust and approach partnership with honesty, and a deeper, emotional commitment in order to know herself more fully.

Director, Ang Lee
is up an aware for Best Director for 'Life of Pi'.

My favorite Director, Ang Lee obtained a Master's Degree in Film Production at NYU.  He is known for such epics as Sense & Sensibility, Brokeback Mountain, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Angelina Jolie wrote to him personally, to ask him to come on board to direct Cleopatra, in which she will play the lead.

Born October 23, 1954, Ang Lee's astrology reveals a T-square
involving Mars, Uranus to his late degree Libra Sun, which challenges him to touch on subjects  outside of the box and to keep evolving in his creative interests.

With Moon in Virgo (can be prudish) and Venus in Scorpio (can be intruged with sexuality), it's no wonder many of his 'characters' are noted for their conflicting feelings around the expression of their sexuality.
