IYG Thanks YOU!
December, 2012

group of youth in the LR Thank you for an incredible 25th year of serving LGBTQ youth!

As 2012 comes to a close, IYG would like to thank you for your support of LGBTQ youth.  Whether it was purchasing a license plate (while you could!), sending in letters, emails, and checks during that crazy period, checking out IYG's new website, donating to or attending the annual art auction, volunteering (as over 150 of you did), participating in one of the 25th anniversary events, sponsoring a youth to attend the 25th anniversary dinner (as over 35 of you did!), or being an incredibly important donor, these youth would not have had a safe place to be themselves.

It does take a whole village to raise our LGBTQ youth and with your help we've really made a difference this year with so many of them!

It's all about them...the over 750 young people who had the courage to open the IYG front door.  It's been a great year to watch them flourish...to actually watch their self-confidence, their self-respect, and their self-worth blossom; to watch them take on leadership roles, to hear them talking about doing better in school, to see what happens when they start making friends.  It's transformational for them.

So, thank you again so much for all you have done!
