Dear friends,

CHH has a long history of creating affordable housing in the city for people whose incomes fall short of being able to rent market rate apartments. Building quality housing for people of limited means is the right thing to do for a lot of reasons. Communities are more diverse and healthy. People can live closer to their jobs and public transportation. Families can be closer to schools, parks and healthy food.

Over the past few years, we have expanded the services we offer to CHH residents. Our Resident Services team helps tenants meet their personal goals and achieve greater stability for their families. Recently, with a team from Seattle University's Executive Leadership Program, we piloted a program pairing tenants with business leaders to advise them in their job searches. So far two participants of the project have found new jobs. Over the next several months, we'll be working to grow this job coaching program into a regular offering to help people find rewarding work.

You can help grow this program by donating during Give BIG, coming up on May 5th.
