Chamber Music at the Museum
Saturday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m. - Sunday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. (Matinee)

The Encelia Chamber Ensemble will perform pieces by classical composers, such as Beethoven, Grieg, Mozart, Grainger and Telemann.
Seat reservations are available for a donation of $20 for standard seating and $30 for preferred (front row) seating.  
Light refreshments will be provided during and after the show.
All proceeds will benefit the Museum. 

Youth Summer Camp 2016
Our summer camp is offered to children 6 to 12 years of age. It is themed around the Museum's "Framed-Step into Art" summer exhibit. Programs run Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $20 per week. For more information or to sign-up go to Pre-registration is required.

Reptiles in Joshua Tree National Park

Dr. Jeffery Burkhart is Professor of Biology at University of La Verne.  Passionate since his youth about field biology in general and herpetology( the study of reptiles and amphibians), in particular. Burkhart  is in charge of a herpetology team that helps conduct annual Biodiversity surveys of Joshua Tree National Park every year.
Bring your lunch, bring your friends, or just bring yourself to our Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series once a month.  Speakers will present topics of special interest for high desert residents. The lectures start at 12:00 p.m.
 Admission is  $ 5 - Free for Members -  beverages will be served.

The Morongo Basin Historical Society's 2nd Wednesday Lecture Series is held at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum,
