 HECH and CDP Partner on Housing Rehab Project The Harwich Ecumenical Council for the Homeless (HECH) will team up with the CDP to help approximately 50 families to address critical safety, energy and code issues for their homes. The program delivers up to $35,000 per household to qualified residents of Dennis, Harwich, Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet. Working together to stabilize housing for homeowners is a natural expansion of both organization's services to the Lower Cape.

 Thankful Chases Pathway Wins
New Construction Award
Thankful Chases Pathway is being recognized by CIRenew as the winner of the '2012 Clean Energy-Green Action Award for New Construction' for its consistency with the goals of halving fossil fuel consumption and achieving electricity independence in the Cape & Islands region. The project demonstrates the vision of CDP and the leading-edge talent of local practitioners, as well as the value of collaboration among local agencies and businesses in creating outcomes with substantial and sustained community benefit. It is a shining example of what all new construction can and should achieve in terms of energy and environmental performance. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this project a reality!
