About a year ago out of the blue, Gypsy Lou Webb mentioned "Gypsy Lou is Gone Again" a Bob Dylan song that was written about her. We questioned her on it and then researched it hard and advocated the concept online to the Dylan Community. This article comes from one of the folks inside that community which is a nice level of validation. They feature the awesome picture of Rockmore, Gypsy Lou Webb & Robert Paige (O.M.) that Lou gave to us 5 years ago and GEFQ published. It is rewarding to see others using the images and the legacies being sealed into electronic history forever. What an Adventure we have been having as we transition Shirley Marvin to her new living space at the St. James Wellness Center. Shirley had many options but chose to stay on in the Wellness Center even with her 100% recovery because she felt useful to others. The staff and the residents were really happy and so is Shirley. Thank you all for the cards and email wishes. Her new address is Shirley Marvin - Wellness Center, 333 Lee Drive, Baton Rouge, LA, 70808.

One of the amazing things that has happened to us in 3 months at the Retirement Center is how close we have become to so many older people with amazing stories and legacies. Jessie, 96, helped the American Association of Meat Processors initially get meat recognized for it's nutritional value in 1940. Dick, 92, was our Sunday School teacher, political activist, an Ethyl engineer, LSU professor & mom's best friend in the 80s. Jim, was on the LA State Supreme Court, a top attorney and President of City Club. Carol & Byron Levy are two of mom's best friends and neighbors for the last decade. It turns out Byron Levy is also an amazing watercolor artist that has been recognized locally and nationally for his French Quarter & NOLA artworks. We have two of his works on our eBay this month as the GEFQ expands on to other artists that share the vision of preserving and documenting the French Quarter.
Thanks again for all of your patience & support.
