Greetings as we prepare today to leave on a 10,000 mile car trek in the next 5 weeks that will take us from Cape Cod to New Orleans and Lake Charles. At the end of October, both shows will come down and we will deliver over 170 artworks back where they came from across the south. Then it is on to Albuquerque and Colorado to check in with friends and family before returning to Cape Cod for Thanksgiving. The plan this winter is to go through the 2000+ New Rockmores we have documented and get them plus the additional 3000 we have on deck published on the web site in a web page makeover. We also plan to finish up the films we are working on for the GEFQ. This winter we will begin the process of applying for grants so that we can transition in 2015 from relying on the sale of art (down to less than 200 Rockmores) to more traditional funding for a Non Profit Organization. This will be unchartered waters for us as we sail into our future. The GREAT News is that we are fired up and ready to go and the BAD News is that we are in scramble mode just to fund the next 5 weeks not to mention the future. The cost of the upcoming party, funding the catalog and returning the artwork as well as making the 10,000 mile trek and our future will be completely dependent on the art we can sell in the next 5 weeks. That is where you come in. NOW is the time to get yourself a Rockmore artwork or book or catalog. Better yet, show up at our Party on the 25th like these Art for Art Sake folks! Those of you that have a catalog (and everyone that ordered 1 should by now) can pick from the over 70 works available in there. Whatever the best discount we have offered you in the past is available and if you are new to us, we are ready to make you a deal. All you need to do is inquire about a work and off we go, we rarely say no. Those that don't have a catalog, now is the time to get one. It is easy, there are less than 100 left and all you do is follow the info at the bottom of the email and it is on the way plus you have helped us out. There is the eBay Auction of the 20 works coming up this Thursday, October 23rd at 9PM ET. Then there is the party on Saturday October 25th from 6-9PM at the Loisel Vintage Modern, 2855 Magazine St. in New Orleans. We will be bringing out many never seen before Rockmores for you to acquire for your own collection with special party discounts for those that show up! The Rockmore Show in Lake Charles is up until October 30th as well!

It will be our last event for awhile with Shirley Marvin and just to see her and the unseen HUGE Rockmores will be worth the trip. We really hope to see you there!
