The Good News is that 138 Final works have been selected for the Lake Charles Museum Show - "The Genius of Noel Rockmore." We had a few sponsors step forward for the catalog and we thank F. Peter Rose, Russ & Peggy Daulton, John & Doris Babcock and Carl & Jill Kickham. The Bad News is that we are not even close to funding and there is not time for a Kickstarter or even a fundraiser other than this eBay offering.

Of the 138 artworks selected, only 22 are from the current Shirley Marvin Collection. The rest of the works are from other collectors most of whom came to us via eBay. This is a great accomplishment in realizing our vision to spread Rockmore artwork across the country to new collectors. The two major things that any artist can hope to gain from an art show is a nice catalog and a major news article. We have the major article iron in the fire and we will eventually make the catalog a reality but we need your help. The catalog and article live on long after the show is over and preserve the legacy of the artist.

Gladys Rockmore Davis' Johnson & Johnson work behind us!
One small bid
on any of the eBay works below goes a long way towards keeping the Rockmore recognition going even if you don't get the work. The Auction ends this Sunday at 9PM ET and your support could give us the boost we need before we start the process of delivering everyone's artwork to Lake Charles, LA. You have always pulled us through when our backs were to the wall and we know you will again this time.

Thanks in advance for your support,

Shirley, Rich & Tee Marvin
The Golden Era of the French Quarter Team

PS. There are 48 hours left before the 138 works owner list becomes final on Monday July, 28th. If you are interested in owning 1 of the 22 Shirley Marvin paintings in the show to support the catalog, please let us know and it can still be in your name.

These works from The Shirley Marvin Collection are available on eBay and the Auction ends Sunday July 27th at 9PM ET. Click on any work for a description.
