What a week! The Kickstarter books have all been signed, sealed and sent out by today February 5th. The Art Rewards will be sent separately next week. Thanks to all who made it happen and especially our daughter Macy who orchestrated fulfillment and endless delivery to the Post Office.
The OFFICIAL Book Launch for the public is Saturday February 8th from 6-9PM at the Bevolo Museum at 316 Royal Street, New Orleans. This will also begin our Launch of the GEFQ "French Quarter Project" as well which will be the focus of our Non Profit. We hope you can attend and show support for the book, for Rockmore, for us and the Non Profit. There will be snacks and drinks with music, slide show and an Awesome Rockmore Art Exhibition and lots of celebrities and fun for all that RSVP.

We will also celebrate Tee's mom, Marie's birthday as well as our daughter Macy's Birthday and of course Shirley Marvin will be there. As an extra treat, right across the street, Francois Gilot, 92, (Picasso's 2nd wife) is having an opening at the Mann Gallery 6-9PM. She is actually in the book from when we met her in Lagrange, GA. You will also get a chance to meet INTERNATIONAL Artist Bruce Davenport Jr.! The "Beast" will be in the house along with some of his artworks on display. The Schurmeiers (Mark's parents) will also be attending. The REAL GOAL here is to have a very nice showing and generate enthusiasm for the "Book Launch & GEFQ, purchases are not necessary, but an RSVP is (or it's a $10 cover).
The hope is that after you get your book and love it you will get the word out through all social media which we will be revving up all this week and next. There are a very Limited # of First Edition books we have saved for this event and a short supply of 2nd edition books. Next week, the 2nd Edition books will be available at local outlets in New Orleans(Bevolo Gas Light Museum - Royal St.), Gonzales(Alana International Travel - Hwy 44) & Baton Rouge(Dearmans - Jefferson Hwy). We recently added a Dearmans book signing for Sunday March 9th 4-7PM for our Baton Rouge friends. We are looking at Snos Seafood in Gonzales for another signing event TBD.
These 2 works are at Neal Auction this coming Saturday February 8th from Private Collectors.

This Self Portrait work above will be coming up at Creceent City Auction on February 15th and is also on the cover of the book. There will be a book signing there next Wednesday February 12th from 5-8PM and Shirley, Rich & Tee will be in the house. What a joy to deliver books to our friends in Georgia and Louisiana.
