We know this will be a great New Year for everyone despite the recent NFL playoff results!
We have the official word that we can pick up the First Edition of the book in LaGrange this Friday January 24th. We, (Shirley, Rich & Tee), are excited and will attend the LaGrange Art Museum GALA Museum event on Friday, January 24th. On Saturday January 25th from 2-6PM, Ralph & Nita Howard will be having an Open House and Book signing event at 754 Cherokee Road in LaGrange, GA. We will then return to New Orleans next week and mail out or deliver all of the First Edition books to those that ordered them.
In February, we have started lining up book signing events so that we can meet folks in person and get the word out on the "Book" and "The French Quarter Project." This will be the name, brand and vehicle of the Golden Era of the French Quarter 501c3 Non Profit Foundation to "Recognize the Heroes among us." The Noel Rockmore Project will continue full speed ahead with all communications now coming from The French Quarter Project. Please let us know if you have any ideas for book review folks and/or book signing events in your area.
Special Thanks to "Panama" Phil Thompson, recent bone cancer survivor, who created The Noel Rockmore Pinterest Page. Pinterest is a new form of Social Media Communications. The French Quarter Project will make full use of learning and sharing the new social media forms of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter while still using our established Email, Direct Mail, You Tube and eBay. It will all be seamless for you and hopefully educational and productive for all.
