address on June 1st, the Solemnity of the Ascension, tells us that communication is essentially about an encounter: "Communication is really about realizing that we are all human beings, children of God. I like seeing this power of communication as 'neighborliness.'"
Through this book, I hope to have an encounter with you, and become your neighbor. Together, I hope we can grow closer to God and feel our spirits uplifted in the joy we share as children of God--especially in our daily encounters with those for whom we care so deeply. May the Lord of creation bless you daily in these reflections, in the love He lavishes so abundantly on you and those for whom you care.
