NJAPSA is Accepting Applications for a New Special Education Director/Supervisor Cohort. This initiative is designed to provide new administrators in special education with the skills and knowledge that are critical to success in their challenging, complex positions. Cohorts of eight-to-ten participants are selected each year from educators who have obtained appropriate certification and who wish to expand upon the skills and experiences gained from their initial months in the position.

ACNJ Prepares a Follow-Up Report on Student Chronic Absenteeism in New Jersey Schools.
In September, ACNJ will be releasing its second report on state and district chronic absenteeism data and is currently reviewing data from the 2014-2015 school year. The first report titled, Showing Up Matters: The State of Chronic Absenteeism in New Jersey was published in August 2015.
