The festival is open to teens as well as to adults with an interest in young adult fiction. A full author line-up can be found here.
Family Time is Fun Time at Your Library!
Hear ye, hear ye: the Royal Tea Party returns to the Downtown Bend Library on March 11! Bring your small royal for stories and refreshments; crowns, sparkles and your finest clothes are most welcome at this popular event (registration required). We're also going to Go Green with stories and songs about frogs, dragons and more on March 17 at the East Bend Library. Our LEGO Block Party events and Saturday Stories programs are also perfect for the whole family. Be sure to check the FAMILY section of your Events guide (p. 3) or the online calendar to keep up with all that's happening at your library.
Free Help for Nonprofits & Small Businesses
If you have a small business or are part of a nonprofit, your library is here to help. Discover what funders are looking for in nonprofits seeking grants during a free presentation on March 17, and learn how to use the Foundation Directory Online  on March 24. For small business owners, you can receive free, confidential business counseling with a SCORE volunteer every Tuesday at the Downtown Bend Library between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.; no registration is required. And at 5:30 today (3/2) we have a social media workshop for small business owners.
