Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce Newsletter
June/July 2015
A Word From Our President

Since our last newsletter, we have had a wonderful time seeing new businesses start, facilitating their needs, and ongoing businesses move forward within the community. We have observed transitions in our CD4 leadership from community legend and former Councilmember Tom LaBonge, to newly elected charismatic Councilmember David Ryu, embracing his role with joyful parents by his side during his swearing in ceremony this June. Our community has seen notable contributions, awards, and eleven additions to our chamber of commerce network of businesses.

The momentum continues through July with exciting evenings, openings, and events ahead. I want to personally invite you to join us at our 2nd Annual Sunset Social -- 100% of proceeds are going to our non-profit Sherman Oaks Chamber Foundation.  This evening which will be held in a beautiful, private home in Sherman Oaks will be lots of fun and rewarding -- please join me.

Best regards,

Pedro
