You do not require experience or to be employed as an apprentice to be part of these unique programs.

Featured Program - Pre-Employment

The Pre-Employment Trades programs in electrical, welding and steamfitter/pipefitter will prepare you to enter the workforce and give you an advantage when competing for employment in the trades.  You will:
- Receive technical training in the first year of the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT)
- Gain experience in the shop
- Earn two safety tickets
- Build a trades resume
- Challenge AIT's provincial exam upon successful completion
- Establish a network within your trade
