Come up with short-term tasks and strive for goals that are actually attainable.
2. Stay positive.
Build on things you're good at rather than focusing on the negatives.
3. Plan ahead.
Start a to-do list, beginning with the little things first.
4. Track your progress
and talk about it. Telling your family and friends will help ensure you get the support you need.
5. Plan a reward
for yourself that doesn't contradict your resolution. This will keep you on track and build a sense of accomplishment.
And remember - it won't happen overnight! New activities take 21 days to become habits and six months to become part of your personality. So stick with it and be patient!
