Fitness Tips

4 Ways to Make the Most of a Short Workout

Where has all the time gone? We know how hard it is to fit a workout into a busy day. Save time and get better results by following these four easy tips!

1. Treadmill or elliptical?
Choose the treadmill for more variety and full body benefits. You'll work your heart, plus all the major muscles in your hips and legs!

2. Free weights or machines?

Pick up the weights. They challenge more muscles with one movement than weight machines, resulting in better tone and definition.

3. Music or TV?

Opt for your favourite playlist. TV creates a distraction, whereas upbeat music can inspire a more intense, efficient workout. Better yet, make it Beyonce!

4. Water or sports drink?

Stick to water for hydration. Unless you're working out longer than an hour or in extreme conditions, you won't need the extra sugar and electrolytes.
