The Year Was 2001

In late October of 2001 Lank Oil Company negotiated a deal with Diversified Oil Company to purchase their fuel delivery business along with their 5 fuel tankwagons! They were also able to form an agreement with Kristene Lundblad and most of the Diversified truck drivers to join the Lank Oil team! This acquisition more than doubled the amount of Lank Oil tankwagons on the road and produced a big boost in business.

Ft. Lauderdale Mariners Club Marine Seminar - No More Ballast We Ride On An Even Keel.

The most important Seminar for Insurance Agents, Brokers, Underwriters, Surveyors, Admiralty Attorneys and Marine Industry Professionals was held on November 4th, 2015 at The Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Resort. With almost 600 attendees this was one not to be missed. This was the clubs 26th annual Marine Seminar which also featured a Golf Tournament the day prior at Ft. Lauderdale Country Club which benefitted the Skills USA program. All attendees also received 2 tickets to the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show!

FATHOM -- measure of water depth, somewhere between 6 inches and 20 feet

KEEL -- barnacle collector; don't worry, you can't see it, so don't expect to be invited to admire the ship's collection
