The Year Was 1976...

CITGO agreed to lease Lank Oil some space on their property in Pt. Everglades and the Lank Family quickly erected their own building! This more than doubled the size of the original facility and housed both office and warehouse in one building. They also built a loading rack, seen below, which was hooked up to over 30,000 gallons of fuel storage. In 1987 Lank Oil decided to buy their own property and moved to their current location in Pompano.

Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance

February 20-22, 2015 was the Boys & Girls Clubs Annual Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance. It started Friday night with the DuPont Registry Hangar Party at the Boca Raton Airport. Saturday was the gala dinner at the Boca Resort which included entertainment by Howie Mandel! Sunday was the classic car show on the golf course at the Boca Resort which also included the Concours d'gourmet, which was a food tasting put on by local bars and restaurants. Lank Oil was happy to attend this prestigious event in continuing support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County!

The Real Meaning...

PFD - Acronym for Personal Floatation Device. This is a multifunction device normally used as a cushion, packing material or sponge. The Coast Guard requires one for each person on board to ensure they have something soft to sit on in case standard seating is limited.

Port - This is what you drink when you are on the boat. Also the left side of the boat, also a place where boats congregate.

Rudder - This is the device that steers your boat. The rudder is usually the first part of your boat to come off when you hit a rock.
