Martha Achieves Success in Violin Exam

Sports Congratulations to Martha (Year 4) who achieved an amazing 141 marks out of a possible 150 in her Royal College Grade One violin examination. This is a wonderful result and well deserved as Martha is a conscientious, hardworking pupil. Her violin teacher Mrs Clissold was thrilled as being awarded a distinction above 140 is quite unusual. Well done, Martha.

Success for SDC LAMDA students

At the end of May, seventeen students from Years 7 - 10 did their LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) examinations at Sydenham High School. They were a credit to St Dunstan's with their mature and self-contained attitude to the day. The parents also behaved impeccably!  Read more...
Children's Garden

On returning from their summer holiday, it has been wonderful for the children to see how their produce has grown. Alyssa, Max and Jessica were amazed at how many runner beans they could count.

Year 5 and Year 6 Team Building Day

With a brilliant blue sky and crystal white sun reflecting off the calm waters, Year 5 and 6's Tuesday was like being back on summer holidays. But perhaps the location of the Docklands was not quite as glamorous as some of our holiday destinations. We spent a very enjoyable day on the water, learning how to sail and how to manoeuvre kayaks. It was an excellent opportunity for the children to make friends from another year group and to practise working as a team, making sure that no one got hit on the head with the sail! Everyone returned to St Dunstan's with a new skill - and a bag of very wet clothes.  See more photos...
