Canned Food Drive
Student Council will be doing a canned food drive from 12/9-12/17 in student's first periods for the Food Bank of the Rockies. The first period with the most nonperishable items will win a breakfast party after winter break.

Craft Fair
Join us for our First Craft Fair on Saturday, December 14 from 9am to 3pm in the Gym. We have a variety of crafters from food to homemade Christmas ornaments to scarves, purses, dog treats and dog accessories. You won't want to miss this!!!! Bring a friend and enjoy a chance to do some holiday shopping!

Parents Holiday Shopping Day
Do you need some time to yourself to get some holiday shopping done? The Poms team will be providing child care for elementary school aged children from 1-4pm on Saturday December 14th at the Exploratory building. The charge is $15 for the first child age 3-12 and $10 for any additional children. We will also be providing gift wrapping for $3 so bring any unwrapped gifts!

Dance Performance
Come join the Vista Peak Dance Class for their Winter Dance Performance Monday, December 16 from 6-7pm. Students will be performing several dance styles at this first semi-annual event. Admission is free.

Jazz Band Performance
The VP jazz band has been invited to perform at the esteemed Dazzle Restaurant & Lounge. We would love to have families join them for this unique opportunity. The group was invited by a VP parent who attended the last concert and was blown away by our kids and their abilities. Please join us!

Finals Schedule
As we come to the end or our 1st semester classes will be holding finals the last 2 days of school before winter break. It is imperative that students attend their finals at the given times. Please note these 2 days will be considered half days and lunch will not be served. Buses will make their normal stops in the mornings and drop off earlier in the afternoons. Please see full finals schedule below. Students who will not be able to make either day will need to fill out a Finals Waiver Form. All forms are due to the main office by December 16th.

Yearbook
This may be your last chance to get a yearbook! If you do not pre-order your yearbook by December 19 th, the remaining stock will be sold on a first-come-first served basis. $35.00 before December 19 th guarantees that you have this unique piece of Vista Peak history forever. Code Day
 VP Art & Communication students participated in CodeDay. Video tutorials from Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerburg, Chris Bosch and more walk students through the conceptual nature of coding to inspire future computer software engineers. Real world learning at the PEAK!!! Students did an amazing job as they were challenged to collaborate, problem solve, test their error recovery rate, and seek mastery. See more details below about the national event: CodeDay is an incredible model for inspiring students and providing the hands on learning that will help them excel as technologists and future entrepreneurs. CodeDays are 24-hour events where high school and college students of all experience levels get together, make something cool, and become better programmers.

Talent Show
Our Annual Talent Show will be January 31. Tryouts for the show will be held January 21-23. Start thinking about what you will perform. All acts must be fully prepared by tryouts!
