KALE SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
- 2 handfuls of Kale (trimmed)
- 1 sweet apple (Fuji)
- juice from 1/2 of small lemon
- 1 small celery stalk (optional)
- 1/2 frozen banana (optional)
- 1/2 C rice milk
Tip: Using a frozen banana makes the shake thicker which lessens the need for ice. Also, it does a great job at masking the flavor of the Kale!
Preparation: Blend it up! Enjoy immediately.

There's a hot new trend in backpacks recently: Pain! This new trend among youngsters isn't surprising when you consider the disproportionate amounts of weight they carry in their bags - often slung over just one shoulder.
