The USTA Men's Pro Circuit Tiburon Challenger starts on September 24 through October 2, 2016. Former Tiburon Challenger winners continue to advance at the US Open including Jack Sock and Ivo Karlovic. Tournament Director, Brendan Curry anticipates hearing about the field of players any day now! For more information regarding tickets and sponsorship, go to www.tiburonchallenger.com.

Courts will be at a premium during the event, particularly on Saturday, September 24 when all 12 courts will be used that morning for qualifying matches and the USTA Norcal Junior Day Clinic. Courts #2-3 will be closed starting on Monday, September 19 for the construction of the stadium court. We anticipate it will take 2-3 days to take the stadium court down and clean the upper court area at the conclusion of the tournament.

ALSO:

* Starting today, we will be painting the retaining wall on Courts #2 and #5. In addition, Courts #2 and #5 will be closed on Monday, September 12 for the installation of new fencing. Member's comments are encouraged and welcome; please email your suggestions to us at TPCMaintenance@tiburonpc.org.

* I will be out of the office on a short leave from September 6-13. If you need assistance while I am away, please contact Assistant General Manager Curtis Lew at curtisl@tiburonpc.org.

TIBURON CHALLENGER VIDEOGRAPHER NEEDED

Do we have any aspiring videographers amongst our high school students here at TPC who would be able to earn credit and experience being our Tiburon Challenger videographer this year?

It's been said before, and it'll no doubt be said again that the Tiburon Challenger is the most talked about Challenger on the USTA Pro Circuit. Thank you to the wonderful hospitality of our members, the players enjoy an amazing week here in beautiful Tiburon. Many of them talk of the Tiburon Challenger all year long and it's with no surprise that this event goes from strength to strength.

If so, please email Brendan at brendac@tiburonpc.org for details!
