GM REPORT
Dear TPC Members,
Last week the TPC Board of Governors met for their monthly meeting. During that time the Board elected John Parsons as our Club President for the remainder of the year. John replaces Peter Winkler who will remain on the BOG. Please take the time to read this letter from John to the membership on the goals we have set. The Board and Staff thanks Peter for his years as Club President and for his dedication, guidance and leadership. We also thank Ben Kilgore who was President on an interim bases during the past two months.
This Friday, July 22, we have an afternoon of Wibits for the kids starting at 3 PM followed by an evening with Wibits for adults only. A Poolside BBQ will take place starting at 5 PM for all club members. Please see the Café report below for the menu this Friday.
Last week, we completed painting of the exterior of the clubhouse. Some interior touch up work is still in progress. During the last week of July, we plan on replacing the retaining walls and stairs on courts #2 and #5. The following week, we plan to resurface Courts #1-2-4-5-6. During these two weeks, courts may be at a premium. Court #3 and the upper walkway will be addressed at the conclusion of the Challenger. Since last April, House and Grounds, Café and Social Committees have been collaborating on the selection of fabric to reupholster the Café patio furniture. We anticipate a decision very soon. Member's comments are encouraged and welcomed! Please email your ideas to us at TPCMaintenance@tiburonpc.org.
What are your youngsters doing this summer? Space is available in our Summer Camps for the weeks of July 18 and July 25. During the last part of camp this Friday, campers will have the option of using the Wibits which has generated great reviews! Contact Jennifer Franco at julianai@tiburonpc.org to sign up.
Till next week,
Jerry Pang General Manager

BALL MACHINE CLINIC BY STAN OLEY, FLORIDA
Many of our juniors had a great time last week participating in a unique ball machine clinic run by coach Stan Oley. Stan lives in Melbourne, Florida and did a great job of running our players through a number of group drills demonstrating what an effective tool the ball machine is. This particular model was Bluetooth enabled and programmed to deliver a workout set to any players level and ability. Our juniors got a wonderful workout facing a wide variety of feeds and different spin.
