The Café has been very busy these days, thanks to Food and Beverage Director Jameson Miller and his team. Jameson has been very busy working the back of the house and guiding the kitchen crew as well as his administrative duties.

We hope to see you at our two upcoming events: a Seis de Mayo Party on Friday, May 6 with dinner and live music, and a Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday, May 8.
NEW WATER AND ICE DISPENSER
We have purchased a new filtered water and ice dispenser that will be located at the West end of the main pool next to the clubhouse. Installation should be completed this week.

REDWOOD HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONS
Three TPC junior players and members of the Redwood High School Team Zach Babikian, Sam Seifer and Jack Eilers enjoyed their victory over Tam High 5 -4 to clinch the MCAL title for the second year in a row. The match was hard fought and well deserved as they took down Tam High on a windy Thursday afternoon last week. Tam had been unbeaten all season at 16 - 0.

FRATANGELO WINS $50K SAVANNAH CHALLENGER
Congratulations to Bjorn Fratangelo on claiming the Singles title in the $50,000 Savannah, Georgia Challenger a week ago. Bjorn competed here at the Tiburon Challenger last year reaching the quarter final round before having to retire to McKenzie McDonald. It is great to see yet another player who we've come to know through our Challenger going on to claim success as he travels the world chasing his dream of reaching the very top ranks in the world.
Well done Bjorn!
TPC ORANGE BALL TEAM'S BIG WIN
TPC's 10/u orange ball players claimed victory against San Rafael RC in their biggest win of the season last Friday afternoon at the TPC. San Rafael were unbeaten this season before falling short by one game to our TPC juniors 22-21. All players showed great sportsmanship and great competitive spirit in this very exciting matchup.
Congratulations to the entire team and coach Michael Friedman.
MEN'S 5.0+ TEAM VERSUS HARBOR POINT
Friday night set the stage for another 5.0+match this time vs Harbor Point and a wonderful BBQ. The tennis match went the way of Harbor Point but the real winner was the fantastic fun social atmosphere that was created by all the TPC members who came out to enjoy the tennis and cheer on their home team. It really was great to see so many members gathered courtside enjoying a refreshment of their choice and just having a good time relaxing at their beautiful tennis club.
Thank you to Café Director Jameson Miller, Manager Nathaniel and their staff for putting on a wonderful BBQ that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
We look forward to the next Friday night tennis and BBQ at the club and hope to see you there!
