SPRING BREAK The week of April 11 is Spring Break and we anticipate a slow week around the Club. Since tennis clinics will not take place, we will resurface lower courts #7 and #10. We will also be repainting our handicap parking spaces in the Fitness and lower parking lots. Also, don't forget that we're offering a Spring Break camp for the kids if you're sticking around for the break! JULIANA MORENO MATERNITY LEAVE We will miss Juliana Moreno during her upcoming maternity leave that starts on April 15. She is such an integral part of the Club and we wish her the best with child #2! Juliana will be replaced by a committee during her leave that will include Jennifer Franco and Kirsten Frazer for Summer Camp and Kid Zone, with Aaron Larson and Curtis Lew overseeing Membership and Member Services. NEW STAFF PERSON: WILFREDO BATRES Please welcome Wilfredo Batres who will be joining our team. Wilfredo will be working primarily in the evenings in Member Services at both the Clubhouse and in Fitness. He has a background of customer service locally and abroad. He spent 10 years as a professional football player in Guatemala! Welcome Wilfredo.
Till next week,
Jerry Pang General Manager

WELCOME BBQ and MEN'S 5.0+ MATCH
Friday night at TPC saw a fantastic turnout for the Men's 5.0+ team match vs Santa Rosa combined with the season opening Welcome BBQ for all league team members. It was great to see and be a part of the exciting atmosphere as over 80 TPC members came together to support and cheer on their club's team court side. The festivities did not end there with Jameson Miller, TPC's new Cafe Director, putting on an extremely tasty BBQ including dishes that members will be seeing on the upgraded menu in the near future and giving everyone a taste of the healthy and flavorful direction in which he is steering our Cafe. Thank you to Michel Seifer for captaining the 5.0+ team, and we're looking forward to the next fun event at the Club!

AQUATICS
SPEEDO FAR WESTERN CHAMPIONSHIPS The Spring Swim Team is building momentum as the weather gets nicer and many of our year-round swimmers are reaping the rewards of their hard work through the Winter. This past weekend, 3 of our Angry Tuna headed off to the Speedo Far Western Championships in Pleasanton to compete against many of the fastest swimmers on the west coast.
Over 100 teams were represented from Alaska to San Diego, Colorado to Los Angeles, and Utah to Oregon. Truly a grand meet. From TPC, Mia Solomon represented the girls in both 50 (10th) and 100 breaststroke. Nicholas Mahabir also swam the breaststrokes and made finals in the 100, placing 10th and setting a new team record! Max Matthews had quite a busy weekend, finaling in 5 races--notching record board swims in all including team records in the 100 IM and 100 Back.
Overall impressive performances at an impressive meet!
Next up...the team is off to Rohnert Park for a fun/1-day novice meet. Our next home meet is Saturday, May 7 - a tri-meet with Montclair and the Rafael Racquet Club. Let's go Tuna!
See you at the pool,
