GENERAL MANAGER REPORT

Dear members,

We are 'recovering' from the Wells Fargo Tiburon Challenger! The circuit finished up in Sacramento yesterday and the third leg of the tour will be played in Fairfield this week. Mackenzie Mc Donald was ranked #721 prior to our event where he reached the semifinals. His ranking jumped to #518 and will improve again given his performance in Sacramento where he reached the quarterfinals and posted a win over Tim Smyczek.

We are working on the addition of photos taken during the Challenger to the website. (For a preview, click here.) You can check out some great action shots that were taken by member Jeff Harband on the Challenger website.

I want to acknowledge our Assistant General Manager, Curtis Lew and Maintenance leader, Brian House this week. While the stadium crew was disassembling the stadium, our staff, led by Curtis and Brian, was busy taking down banners, windscreen, repairing fences, washing courts and generally getting the Club back in order.

Also:
In the next week our Winter windscreens will be placed at the South ends of Courts #2-3 and #5-6.

Till next week,

Jerry Pang Signature

CAFE COMMITTEE UPDATE

WE WANT YOUR FEEDBACK THIS MONTH!

Survey

In an effort to continuously improve the Café and member events, please help us by responding to 2 short surveys scheduled to be released over the next 2 weeks. We are looking to update the Café menu during the winter and introduce additional member events - similar to the "Sip & Taste" event held in early September.

WANT TO HELP PLAN PARTIES AND EVENTS AT TPC?

The TPC Café & Social Committee is looking for additional members to join our committee. In addition to being a part of the Café Committee, you will have the opportunity to help plan fun parties and events at the Club. This is a great opportunity to get involved while at the same time using your event planning skills and creativity to increase member participation and enjoyment at Club events. For example, in December the Café will host an "Adult-Only Night," "Brunch with Santa," and a "Member Holiday Party."

If you are interested in joining a committee at TPC, this is an excellent time to get involved!

Please email or call Nancy Shapiro if you would like more information or would like to join the committee.

Thanks!!

A NOTE OF THANKS

We have wrapped up another successful Challenger event and I would like to thank all the TPC Members for their support during what I believe was an amazing nine days of tennis. To all sponsors, volunteers and those of you who give of your time so graciously, this tournament would not be possible without you. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful event at our Club and I know the players and all officials who make the journey out to Tiburon are always grateful for the manner in which they are embraced here by you, the TPC Membership.

Many thanks for your support.
