TENNIS
THE CHALLENGER PLAYERS LIST IS IN!
We have received the list of players who will be competing in our Tiburon Challenger tournament from September 26 - October 4. It's very exciting to see such a strong field of players once again with our top seed, Denis Kudla currently ranked No. 75 in the world! Denis had a fantastic run at Wimbledon this year reaching the round of 16 and comes to Tiburon in great form experiencing one of his greatest years on tour to date.
Our No. 2 seed is Dustin Brown from Germany. Dustin brings flamboyance and charisma to the court and is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Dustin, also enjoying one of his best years on tour to date, had a big win over Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon this year and we're elated to have him in the draw.
COURT CONSTRAINTS DURING CHALLENGER
Please be aware that there will be court constraints the week leading up to and the week of our Tiburon Challenger. - Stadium construction begins on Tuesday, September 22. The stadium take down will be completed on Wednesday, October 7.
- From Wednesday, September 23 we will have players starting to arrive at the Club looking to get in some valuable practice time before they start the tournament.
- From Saturday, September 26 through Sunday October 4 there will be very limited court availability for member play. Please check in with the Front Desk for court availability during this time.
We thank you for your understanding and patience during what is going to be a very exciting 9 days here at TPC. We hope that everyone will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to watch world-class tennis right here at our Club!
BOX SEATING STILL AVAILABLE
We still have a couple boxes on the west side of the court and a few on the east side. Please email Brendan at brendanc@tiburonpc.org if you would like to secure courtside seating for the week. Perks include Sponsors Dinner, Player/Sponsor Welcoming BBQ invites, and on-court advertising.
ONLY 2 MORE OFFICIALS TO HOUSE
We have only 2 more officials to house! Thank you to all who have so graciously opened their homes to our tournament officials.
Many of these men and women have officiated at the US Open and huge tournaments around the nation. All they need is a bedroom and a bathroom during their stay.

CAFE
SIP AND TASTE RECAP
Our first adult only night at TPC was a resounding success! Approximately 60 people attended our Sip & Taste Event this past Thursday night. The Café was transformed to create an ambiance for a casual, yet elegant event to make the evening special.
Timed perfectly to last throughout the evening to ensure plenty for all, Bren, our Food and Beverage Director, showcased his excellent culinary talent with a wide assortment of passed hors d'oeuvres. Beginning with oysters on the half shell with a grapefruit black pepper shallot on ice, smoked salmon flatbread with a lemon horseradish crème, caviar and chives, house made chicken pot-stickers with soy, mushrooms, and ginger and Ahi tuna with toasted almonds and coconut, currants, ginger soy and chopped olives on a fried wonton crisp - followed by blackened filet mignon with a horseradish aioli on sourdough crostini, Dijon crusted lamb chops and macadamia and coconut crusted fried prawns with orange jalapeno sweet chili dipping sauce. Plates of fresh fruit, ham sandwiches, crudités and cheese and crackers rounded out the tasty assortment.
Many Thanks!
