TPC LABOR DAY PARENT/CHILD TENNIS ROUND ROBIN
Blue skies, warm sun and plenty of laughs was the order of the day for Labor Day Parent/Child social round robin. It was great to see many of our juniors on court with their parents having such a great time. We all remember the excitement of playing with our moms and dads and showing them how well we can play and today was a tribute to the bond between adult and child that is formed through sports. There was sportsmanship, friendly competition and an overall feeling of playing tennis for the fun of it. It is events like these that our kids will remember and cherish forever.
Well done to all participants, children and adults alike and thank you to all who participated!
Here are some pictures of the action...

CHALLENGER HOUSING - FREE TICKETS ALL WEEK!
We are in need of only three more officials housing volunteers. If you are able, it would be most appreciated if you would house an official for our upcoming Challenger. This is a great way to get to know someone close and personal to the tournament. All they would need is a bed and a bathroom for the duration of the tournament. Transportation is taken care of.
Housing volunteers benefits include:
- Name recognition in the tournament program and on stadium court banner
- Invitation for two to the player/sponsor welcoming BBQ
- Free admission to the entire tournament

LABOR DAY RECAP
What an awesome day at the pool was had by all!! The morning activities started off with a Masters workout and stoke analysis, then the pick-up water polo game was a big hit with the adults, not to mention a great workout and a ton of FUN!! Kid's pool games are always a blast and this year was no different. Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's aquatics activities - we hope you all enjoyed yourselves. Please check out the all the pictures from the Labor Day fun! NEW HEAD LIFEGUARD
The Aquatics Department would like to announce our NEW Head Lifeguard, Tyler Bartlett. As a Tiburon youth, Tyler spent countless hours at TPC. Whether it was swim lessons, tennis, summer camp, jumping off the diving board, or exploring the golf course, he was a regular from an early age. Tyler has had a passion for the water since childhood and he has always spent as much time outdoors as possible. Tyler started lifeguarding at TPC as a 16 year old Redwood student and has worked seasonally since. Each year the rainy Eugene, OR weather made him yearn for the summer months when he would return home, lifeguard and teach swim lessons. Tyler graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Social Science and a minor in Business Administration in the summer of 2014, and after a trip abroad he returned to lifeguarding here at TPC. When Tyler is not at the TPC he enjoys playing rugby, scuba diving, skiing, and fishing. Tyler is looking forward to working with the members to create a safer, more accessible, and more enjoyable pool area.
