Easter Event

Our Easter egg hunt was great fun! The kids also really enjoyed the petting zoo and meeting the Easter Bunny! A big thanks to Travis Callison, Juliana Moreno, and Curtis Lew for organizing such a memorable event.

Here are some pics from the day..

Water Conservation

As most of you know, we are in a drought and we want to make sure we all do our part at TPC to conserve water. California Governor Jerry Brown has asked for a 25% reduction in usage. Similar to prior years, we are doing the following:

  • Limiting our irrigation to the minimum levels
  • Cutting tennis court washing from 1x per week to every other week
  • Closely monitoring our auto-fill with all bodies of pool water
  • Reducing amount of water to the minimum inwashing towels
  • Maximizing water efficiency in the Café/Kitchen

We also wish to try to control the length of showers - please try to limit the time you take when you shower to a minimum.  Also, some members use multiple towels and we request that you only use one towel in our effort to conserve. Thank you.

Fitness Room

Please note that the Fitness Room will be closed on April 13-14 for painting. We anticipate re-opening the Fitness Room on Wednesday, April 15.

New Furniture

As you know, we very recently completed a Café renovation which included the addition of new furnishings in the Café, patio and pool areas. Friendly reminders may be passed on to members (and kids) to treat the new furnishings respectfully so that we can keep our new furniture clean and orderly. Thank you for your help.

Have a nice week!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT TO MEMBERS

More Members Needed to Join our Member-Run Committees!

As a member-owned Club, the TPC looks to our members for ideas, involvement and support. One of the best ways to get involved is to join a committee - to support the departments and activities around the Club. While it's nice to know we do have quite a few people currently on committees, we need everyone to consider taking a turn getting involved.

Some of the TPC committees include: Tennis, Aquatics, Fitness, Youth, Café (Bar and Grill), House and Grounds, and Social. Members' thorough work on committees also supports events and projects around the Club.

We currently need and are looking for more members to join committees. Time commitments for committee members vary, with some committees meeting monthly and others meeting every two or three months. Please consider getting involved. Join by yourself and meet new people. Join with a friend and work together on projects. We need you!! For more information or if you are interested joining a committee, please contact Nancy Shapiro at nshapi@aol.com.

TPC LAUNCHES SOCIAL COMMITTEE

In a renewed effort to enhance our member experience, the Board of Governors recently relaunched a TPC Social Committee. In the weeks and months to come, we will offer exciting events for our adult, senior, and youth members. Speaker series, wine tastings, summer BBQs, as well as book and bridge groups are just some of the things we will be looking to introduce, here, at TPC. If you would like to join the Social Committee or have ideas for events or activities, please contact Capucine Hoybach at choybach@gmail.com.
