June 2016  Faculty News & Training

Meet the friendly folks at CLEAR in the following video that was created to showcase our services to adjunct faculty in a new online orientation.  We're not just the "Blackboard people".  Check it out.

CLEAR NEWS & INITIATIVES
UNTeCampus.com is now online.UNT.edu!

Online.UNT.edu is our new website promoting UNT's Online Degree and Certificate programs.  Lead forms and detailed information about each program are provided.  This site replaces UNTeCampus.com which was more course focused.

CLEAR will no longer be requesting online instructors to list information about their sections within the Course  Information Database (CID).  Instead, the online.UNT.edu site will link to the Registrar's Schedule of Classes for the most up-to-date information regarding online sections.

UPCOMING TRAINING

REEF Polling Training by i>clicker!
Dear UNT Faculty,

We are pleased to announce that UNT has purchased a site license to REEF Polling from i<Clicker! which is replacing TurningPoint by Turning Technologies as our centrally-supported student response system.  As a mobile engagement platform, REEF enables faculty to increase class participation and gather instant feedback by sending polling questions to students' devices.  REEF Polling will be available in classrooms beginning with Fall 2016.  Because we have a site license, students will be able to use the product at no cost.  Given the license agreement, Faculty and staff may also take advantage of this platform for other University purposes.

We are providing several training dates and times in webinar and face-to-face formats between June 1, 2016 and August 3, 2016 for you to learn how to use REEF to enhance your students' learning experience.

For webinar times and dates, please visit our GoToTraining session list to register. http://bit.ly/25q4aFt

For in-person sessions, please RSVP via this Qualtrics survey to help us plan for refreshments. http://bit.ly/1U0to27

We look forward to seeing you soon!
