August 3 Final Event and Awards
We're approaching the Finish Line of our 2016 "On Your Mark, Get Set...READ!" Summer Reading Marathon. All book titles must be logged in Summer Reading Records or Booklogs returned to the Children's Library by 5 pm Monday, August 1. Ms. Janet needs time to get certificates of success ready for August 3, the final day of our summer program, to award children who read or listened to 6 or more books this summer.
It's been an extremely busy summer for the Children's Library with 360+ on-site summer reading registrants (including babies, toddlers, preschoolers, students in Grades K-4 and homeschoolers) plus more readers at our outreach locations-
Future Scholars Preschool and Sakonnet Early Learning Center. Our community is truly fortunate to have parents and caregivers who make reading such an important part of their children's lives. Watch for our final summer statistics in a future e-blast!
