The Tiverton Public Library has seen a dramatic increase in use since the new building opened. Gala proceeds will fund such enhancements as additional needs in the Children and Teen Rooms, a system to hang art, increased technology, and the project to create large ceramic murals.

Rhode Island Library Day -  Children's Event 
Meet and Greet Therapy Dog Moose
a Saint Bernard, along with his owner/trainer Rob Sylvia, Tiverton resident, Saturday April 16, 10:30 AM - Noon, Children's Activity Room. Event limited to 25 children, ages 5+ (In-Person Registration Required).
This team was trained by the organization 'Pet Partners'. 
What does it take to become a pet therapy dog?  Have questions?  You'll get the answers, when you meet this 150 pound lovable 'pup'. Moose loves to be read to!  Tiverton Public Library will provide books we think Moose would like to listen to but if you have a favorite book please bring it with you to share a paragraph or two with  Moose. Wonderful programs happen at Rhode Island libraries and this is one you'll surely remember. This is just one of many library events happening during National Library Week, April 10-16, 2016.
Moose has received a good citizen's award, made guest appearances in nursing homes, parades, and is starring at your local library.
