  2015 Children's Summer Reading

"Every Hero Has a Story!"

 

Get your super powers ready and be on the lookout  - our children's summer reading program 

is coming July 1 through August 7,  2015 to Tiverton Public Library. 

Pre-readers, preschoolers, homeschooled children and students in grades K through entering Grade 5 are welcome to join. 

Have a special need or challenge?  We make summer reading work for all children, just talk to your Children's Librarian. 

Be a hero, stay tuned for the details of our action packed summer!

 

Union Library  

Library Services Have Moved  

to Union Library, Tiverton Four Corners

 

It is estimated that the move will take approximately 3 weeks. We anticipate opening at the New Tiverton Public Library on Monday, May 18, 2015

(this date may change - we will keep you posted).

 

After Essex closes and before the New Tiverton Public Library will open, 

Union Library will be open

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10:00am - 8:00pm, 
  • Friday 10:00am - 5pm, 
  • Saturday 10:00am - 4pm

During the move, (April 27 through May 17) materials can be picked up and dropped off at Union Library or any other RI library. 

If you ordered something to be delivered to Essex, it will be available for pick up at Union Library.

LIBRARY GALA
Downton came to Tiverton and there was standing room only!!

Antique cars, period costumes, great food, hot jazz, dancing,
tireless volunteers, and a silent auction
all came together for an evening of celebration and a first look for most inside the new Tiverton Public Library.
Watch for more photos and a followup, but for now, one more memory:

and teachers for wonderful desserts and outstanding support!

  • Option #1, as recommended by the elected school, town, and budget committees, and
  • Option #2, as recommended by a citizen petition.

 

Voting will take place at Tiverton High School, 

100 N Brayton Rd, 

for all precincts/districts.
