Members:
The following change in the By-Laws of the Friends of Tiverton Libraries is proposed, effective Jan. 1, 2015 pending approval of the Membership at the 2015 Annual meeting:
 Article IV - Board Members and Officers Section 1 - Subject to the laws of Rhode Island and any limitations in the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, the activities and affairs of the Friends of Tiverton Libraries shall be conducted by or under the direction of its Board of Directors.
Current wording:


 

Section 2 - The Board will be comprised of officers of the Association in addition to Library Director as ex-officio non-voting member.  Officers shall be: President or Co-Presidents Vice President Secretary Treasurer Historian Member-At-Large
 (2 positions) 
Proposed change:


 

Section 2 - The Board will be comprised of officers of the Association in addition to Library Director as ex-officio non-voting member. 
Officers shall be: President or Co-Presidents, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Archivist, and  Member(s)-At-Large. 
The number of  "Members at Large" shall be determined at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
