It's spring! Time to clean house from all the wintery cobwebs and time to begin
saving and bagging
gently used books May 1 through May 24

We are unable to accept magazines [your local hospitals and medical offices may welcome them!] We also cannot accept encyclopedias or textbooks, [
the readingtree donation bins at the entrance to our landfill, and near the Stop&Shop gas pumps will accept textbooks and encyclopedias, and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters donation trailer, also near the gas pumps, will accepts VHS and cassette tapes]
or books that are moldy or water damaged [for your health as well as that of our volunteer sorters].
This is the major fundraiser for the Friends of Tiverton Libraries. It is used primarily to underwrite summer reading programs.
Friends also provide museum passes, information on library services and events, and support other library needs beyond the annual budget. JOIN US for the June 1
