Dear OLLI members,

Tomorrow we will send out the link to our Annual Member Survey, and we will have paper copies of the survey available at our front desk at the Reuter Center. Please take advantage of this survey.  Your responses allow us to understand our membership and respond to your questions and concerns.  The results of several years of annual member surveys were included as one of many sources of information used to create our Strategic Plan to help us set our course for the next three to five years. These surveys direct our curriculum decisions and allow us to track trends in demographics that allow us to look to the future as we honor the best of the work we currently do.

Many thanks to Steve Schleifer and the other volunteer members of our Research Committee who put together this survey, the evaluations for College for Seniors courses, and other surveys we conduct throughout the year.  The work of these knowledgeable volunteers distinguishes OLLI at UNC Asheville and is one of many ways we remain true to our commitment to being member-driven and member-led.

We know about and are working to find sustainable solutions for many ongoing issues like registration and parking. Awareness of an issue does not always mean a easy solution or an agreement about the best solution, but we do appreciate the many ways that our members push us to continuous improvement.

It's nearly Annual Member Survey time!

Survey guy Here at OLLI we're committed to providing the best experience possible by addressing your lifelong learning needs; you can help us do that via your responses to our annual member survey.

Your responses to the survey will reveal, among other things, how you feel about us, what you believe we're doing well, where you feel we might do even better, and your course subject preferences.

This year's survey, which starts on October 22, 2012, is shorter and even easier to complete than before. Last year, an outstanding 55% of our members participated...we'd like to raise that percentage even higher in 2012 to be certain a broad range of members are represented. We will send out a separate email with a link when the survey process begins

Remember, your opinions count and will play a role in our planning as we move forward!
