Jeff Johnson attended the farewell service, fellowship dinner, and sharing time for Rev. Art and Kristy Barnes of the Linesville Baptist Church in northwest PA. He has served that church for nearly thirty years. After taking a few weeks off, Pastor Art will begin working with Jeff and the churches in the co::lab experience, having led his own church through the process in 2013.

A prayer by US Senate Chaplain Barry C Black, opening the US Senate -  April 28, 2015

O God, our help in ages past and our hope for years to come; as Baltimore, Maryland, descends into chaos, and the death toll in Nepal rises, we come to you today in the assurance not of our feeble hold on you, but of your mighty grasp on us. Thank you for the beckoning glory and the fresh vigor of a new day. Sustain us in our work. May we trust in your power, as we strive to solve the vexing problems of our time. Lord, use us to ensure that justice will roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.   Strengthen us with your might, and fill us with the spirit of your love. We pray in your merciful name. Amen.

Mary Ritter (Member at Watsontown Baptist Church, Northumberland Association)

I am thankful today for a successful surgery for my husband, Jim Ritter, pastor at Watsontown Baptist Church. He had his left knee operated on again, yesterday, and the surgeon was pleased. He will be recovering at his father's house, since it is one level living. We both appreciate the prayers of our fellow believers for his complete healing. He will be in a cylindrical cast for 6 weeks, or more, so the quad muscle can heal. Thanks, prayer warriors, for lifting him before the Lord.

Debbie Kelsey (A member of the Nicaragua Mission team, and the interim minister at FBC Syracuse, NY.)

Posted on Facebook:   My dad is very sick in GA. We would appreciate your prayers for him and for my mom as she cares for him.

Mary Lewis:  (Former ABCOPAD Minister, currently at FBC Corning, NY)

Posted on Facebook:  Please pray for a woman from my church (Debby - some of you Living Waters folks probably know her) who is critically ill. She is only 67 and got a virulent infection. The very powerful antibiotics they've been giving her are wreaking havoc with her kidneys and other systems. Last night they were giving her about a 20% chance before she was transferred to a bigger hospital. Ten days ago, she was a healthy, very active person.

Remembering our ABCUSA Missionaries...

Kim Brown's work in Thailand includes overseeing three Christ-like ministries for tribal people who are coping with the problems caused by AIDS, disabilities, and migration from their traditional villages to urban slums through the ministry of Integrated Ministries for Ethnic Minorities Foundation (IMEMF).
