The Co::Lab team had a break for lunch and then started the afternoon session with the pumpkin jar exercise. It was fun seeing the teams complete in this tangible lesson.

Remember the leaders and participants in this week's co::lab at Franklin Park Baptist church.

Robert Rice (Pastor at Muncy Baptist Church, Northumberland Association)

Judy Stringfellow has asked that we be in prayer for a friend of her son, Scott. Melanie Marenna has been diagnosed with endometrial cancer and things don't look good. The family is hopeful, and we believe and know the power of prayer!

Father God, in this moment we would lift up Melanie to You. Father, we know You are a healing God, and You desire that we have life. Touch Melanie with Your healing hand in this moment, and rid her body of this cancer. We pray that through this trial, You would give her and the family peace, and that they would be drawn closer to You. Be with them, and show them Your love and mercy. In Jesus' Name, AMEN.

Remembering our ABCUSA Missionaries...

Duane and Marcia Binkley serve ethnic Karen, Chin and Kachin refugees originally from the country of Burma who are coming to live in the U.S. as legal immigrants. They are partnering with Central Baptist Theological Seminary to organize training classes for pastors and church leaders among these ethnic communities.  They also maintain relationships with Baptist organizations in Thailand and within the refugee camps along the Thai- Burma border. The Binkley's are jointly appointed by International Ministries (IM) and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF).  Within the U.S., the Binkley's work with national and regional mission entities of American Baptist Churches-USA and the local churches of the ABC and CBF.
