We started Interim Ministry training in Granville, Ohio, today. Our friend Larry Swain is the host and a presenter. It's been a blessing meeting some denominational folks who coordinate Interim Ministry for their regions. There is a lot of love for congregations here!

Thank you for the prayers for Kenny (Jr.) today. His surgery is finished, and he is home but in quite a bit of pain still. Continue to pray for his recovery. 

Don Miller will have back surgery tomorrow. Please remember him in your prayers tonight and tomorrow. 

Father God, Thank you for being with Kenny today, and guiding Him through surgery. We pray that Your hand of healing would continue to be upon Him. Lord, we also lift up Don tonight, asking that You would grant him peace about his coming surgery. Guide the doctors and nurses as they operate tomorrow, and use this procedure to bring healing to his back. In Jesus' Name, AMEN.

Laurie Cressman has asked for prayers for her mom, Elaine. Elaine is having a lot of pain, and will have back surgery tomorrow to hopefully correct the problem.

Father God, We come to You and lift up Elaine in our prayers. We speak words of healing in the authority of Jesus Christ, saying may this pain be removed and may You heal Elaine's back. Give her peace about this coming surgery, and guide and direct those who will care for her. In Jesus' Name, AMEN.

Administrative Professionals' Day is celebrated this week --- Wednesday, April 22. Don't forget to give thanks and pray for all our church secretaries! They're a vital part of every congregation's ministry.

   


Remembering our ABCUSA Missionaries...

In partnership with the Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development, Melanie Baggao will begin her service in the Arab world by studying at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary, where she will learn language and culture and build relationships in preparation for future ministry in Arabic-speaking cultures. She will also participate in ministries of compassion as our Lebanese partners respond to pressing needs in their communities.
