ABCOPAD Prayer Update
April 7, 2015

Rev. Bruce Moses writes:  We had a wonderful Easter morning service, with a full church and a wonderful Spirit. With the baptisms and the Lord's Supper it was a special day. I believe that this is the first time I have done both in the same service. You and your family have a blessed day.  In Christ,  Bruce

The women, deep in wonder and full of joy, lost no time in leaving the tomb. They ran to tell the disciples. Then Jesus met them, stopping them in their tracks. "Good morning!" he said. They fell to their knees, embraced his feet, and worshiped him. Jesus said, "You're holding on to me for dear life! Don't be frightened like that. Go tell my brothers that they are to go to Galilee, and that I'll meet them there."

ABCOPAD Nicaragua Mission Team

On Friday the ABCOPAD Nicaragua Mission Team will leave for Managua.  The team will be spending 10 days in Nicaragua.  We will be working in a village that is about a 6 - 7 hour drive from Managua.  You can learn more about what the team is doing by clicking on this link

Norb Gibney  (Member of FBC Hollidaysburg, Centre Association)

Norb is asking us to pray for his Mom, Dorothy (Dot) Gibney.  Dot fell on Easter Sunday and shattered her shoulder and broke her hip.  Dot had emergency surgery to pin her hip but there was nothing the doctors could do for her shoulder.  She is recovering at the hospital and will soon be discharged to a rehab facility.  Norb is a member of our ABCOPAD Nicaragua Mission Team.  After much prayer and discussion with his family, he will remain a member of the team but would like all of us to keep his Mom and the family in our prayers.

Kathy Staje  (ABCOPAD ABWM Officer and wife of Pastor John Staje, minister at FRBC Huntingdon, Centre Association)

I would like to ask for prayer for my parents, jerry & Amy Gridley. Dad was hospitalized sat w pneumonia. This is on top of his other health concerns. My mom is feeling poorly w a sinus infection. Praise God for the great care both of them are getting. Another praise is they are on the  mend. Third praise is this is an opportunity to assess them for some support w in home services when he goes home. Prayers too for Jen & Rob Rice today & safe travels for all who are supporting them in person. Tough stuff! Many thx for prayers & support! Love to all!

One more prayer request. John woke up feeling poorly & is staying home today. It is rare event for him to be sick .& even rarer for him to stop. Pray for healing & that he will be refreshed w his day in bed. Needy today! Many thx!

Let your living show thanksgiving!

Randy Powell  (Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Franklin, French Creek Association)

Please keep Pastor Randy Powell and his wife Nicole in your prayers.  Nicole is pregnant and due to deliver their first child in the next couple of week.  They are both very anxious and great partners in ministry.  Looking forward to seeing pictures of the baby on Facebook.
