The angel spoke to the women: "There is nothing to fear here. I know you're looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he said. Come and look at the place where he was placed.

"Now, get on your way quickly and tell his disciples, 'He is risen from the dead. He is going on ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there.' That's the message."

Matthew 28:5-7

Dana Loucks  (Former ABCOPAD Administrator and member of FBC Greensburg, Laurel Association)

Dearest friends and family,  Mom passed away suddenly yesterday (Easter) morning following a 2-day stay in the hospital with an infection. She was scheduled to go home on Sunday afternoon as she was doing so well the night before ... however, God had another plan for her. Easter was mom's favorite day.  How appropriate it is that she goes home to be with Jesus on Easter morning -- the day He ascended to Heaven many years ago!  Mom now has perfect hearing, sight and memory!  What a blessing!  Praise the Lord!  Let us all celebrate her homecoming and be happy for the reunion she is a part of in eternity!

If you are receiving this email, you know you are on mom's list of loved ones!  It's is no secret she made it her life passion to spread the love of Christ to as many as she could. She was truly one who loved the Lord her God, with all her heart, soul and mind. I'm sure Jesus is saying, Gladys, my good and faithful servant with whom I am well pleased.

For those of you who are interested in the viewing or services.  Viewing at Bacha Funeral Home, Southwest Greensburg, April 8 from 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm, with services at the First Baptist Church of Greensburg on Brinkerton Road on April 9 at 10:00am, with following graveside services to be held at Twin Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Delmont.

Sending my love and may the Lord cheer you!

Dana

Ruthie Harbaugh (Wife of Retired ABCOPAD Pastor Don Harbaugh, Jersey Shore, PA Area)

Praise the Lord Don's test were all excellent. He doesn't have Parkinson's the biggest worry even though he does not have taste and smell. He cleared all the other extensive testing 100%. He did not have Alzhemer's and had 28 out of 30 correct and sharp as a tact. He doesn't  have dementia. His severe back pain was causing the dizziness and headache. He doesn't have a brain tumor or a stroke. His weight and BP are perfect. The doctor told him to return to part time preaching or do anything he wants to do as long as I am able to go along  and to enjoy life to the fullest but to remember to take time for just the two of us. So guess he just opened the gate for the horse to run free, This was Don's dream. Unknown to us the doctor followed us down the hall and when in his office halfway through the meeting he said , "I followed you two old people down that hall and you don't act your age, neither has a cane or a limp." In talking to you you are both sharp and mentally alert and in good shape. He went on to ask if Don  could direct him to a church that preaches the Bible. I want to learn and not sit and listen to Praise Songs and announcements for two hours and only hear the preacher for 15 minutes. I want to learn from the Bible. This just made our day and the shoe was on the other foot and you know Don! He is new in town and we really liked him. He spent one hour and 15 minutes with Don. Thank you for the prayers and pray he finds some work! He is ready to go! Thank you Jesus!

Dear Friends,  Please keep Rev. Bob Hettinger in your prayers.  He had problems after back surgery and now has developed pneumonia.  He was re-admitted to Geisinger Medical Center and he and his wife need our prayers.

Update:  I am feeling much better after my surgery.  Karen was discharged from the ER last Friday with nothing determined as to the cause of her symptoms.  She has tests scheduled this week and a doctor's appointment on Friday, so hopefully she'll get some idea of what's happening to her.

Thank you all for your prayer diligence.  Lois Soberick

Jim Belt (Retired ABCOPAD Pastor in the Dalton / Scranton Area)

We are having an interesting Easter.   Our first great-grandchild was taken to the children hospital in Harrisburg four days after she was born.  We were planning to go to Ohio to see my Aunt  for her 91ST birthday.  But we received a call telling us that her memorial service is to be April 6th. Guess we are taking a bus to Dayton, Ohio by way of Harrisburg & since we can't see the child now, on our way home try again to visit.  The child was delivered  by C Section on March 31 2015.    Jim

Robert Rice (Pastor at the Muncy Baptist Church, Northumberland Association)

Hello Everyone:  Please remember Nicole Flick and her family tonight in your prayers. Nicole's Dad will have stents put in, and her mom is dealing with bursitis and sciatica and having trouble walking.

Also, remember Linda Beth who is dealing with an infection in her finger which is giving her great difficulty.

Father God, we know that there are moments and times in our lives when we face great difficulty. We feel overwhelmed by circumstances, by health concerns and by life itself. As life presses in on us, let us press into You. We come in intercession for Nancy, Nicole and her Father. We ask that You would bring healing to them, and we also lift up Linda to You. Bring healing and still her anxious heart. God, grant us peace. In Jesus' Name, AMEN.

Thanks for the prayers, and for praying for us tomorrow as we hold services for Jen's Mom.   PR
