ABCOPAD Prayer Update
April 2, 2015

Mark writes. Yesterday was bitter sweet as the closing on the sale of Trinity Baptist Church took place in Scranton. Rev Ginger Daubenhauser and Treasurer Tracey from Trinity were there to sign the final documents with our own Harry Jenkins and Trish Sands. The building was sold to the Peace Lutheran Church and Trinity will now house their Lutheran Academy. Many of the Lutheran congregation was present and extremely grateful and excited. As one ministry sunsets and sun rises for the educational ministry for kids.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take and eat. This is my body."  He took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from this, all of you.  This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many so that their sins may be forgiven.  I tell you, I won't drink wine again until that day when I drink it in a new way with you in my Father's kingdom."  Then, after singing songs of praise, they went to the Mount of Olives.

Robert Rice  (Pastor at the Muncy Baptist Church, Northumberland Association)

Hello Everyone:  Jen and I would like to thank you for all the prayers for us and her mom over the past several weeks. Jen's mom went home to be with the Lord this morning. We are together down here in Coatesville and working on funeral arrangements. Services will be held at Cornerstone Fellowship (our home church) on Tuesday. Viewing from 9-11 and services at 11.

Thank you for the continued prayers.

Father God, We praise you for the life of Pam, and for taking her home to be with You. We pray that You would bring us all comfort and peace, and that You draw us closer to Jesus, for to know Jesus is to know life. Help us to rest in that promise. In His Name we pray. AMEN

Jen Rice posted on Facebook:  This morning my mom's battle with cancer came to an end....while some would say she lost, I say she has won because she is now completely healed and at home with The Lord. While we will all miss her being here with us I am eternally grateful for the hope that we have with salvation through Christ because I know one day I will see her again. Thank you so much to all who have been continuously lifting us in prayer during this time. Please continue to send prayers for peace and strength for all of us but especially for my dad who is saying goodbye to his wife of nearly 35 years. We love you mom!!

Katie White (Pastor at the Crossroads Community Baptist Church, Erie, Oil Creek Association)

Please pray for my brother-in-law Tim, that the radiation and chemo will be effective against the cancer cells located in multiple sites, and that he will be infused with God' presence and strength in his body, mind and spirit. And please pray for me as I provide support as a caregiver.

Tammy (Message came from our ABCOPAD Prayer Web Page)

Please pray for John. He has leukemia. Please pray that he will be cured. thank you very much. tammy and john.

Beverly Frank (Pastor at the Emanuel Baptist Church of Donora, Pittsburgh Association)

I was so disappointed today. Here I was, looking forward to starting my radiation treatments on Monday, only to find out I won't be. I have no Idea when they will start. Maybe by the 13th. After a good cry, I realized that gives me one more week to get some things done around the house before treatments start.
