Countryside Received 10 Medals!
Countryside JV and Varsity teams received 10 medals in the Science Olympiad competition at UNCC on Saturday, March 2.
Our Varsity Team ranked 9th overall: Boomilever (5th place), Crime Buster (4th place), Experimental Design (6th place), Mission Possible (5th place), Reach for the Stars (5th place), Shock Value (5th place) and Write-itdo-it (5th place.
Our Junior Varsity Team ranked 8th overall: Crime Buster (3rd place), Experimental Design (3rd place, Mission Possible (4th place).
There were 46 middle schools competing this year.

Re-Enrollment Contracts Due Next Friday - March 15th
Re-enrolling for next school year is easy. Fill out the one-page, double sided form, sign the bottom and return it with your 10% tuition deposit.
A $150 late processing fee will be assessed to all contracts returned after March 15th.

Countryside Marches in the St. Patrick's Day Parade
Saturday, March 16 @ 11:00 am
All Countryside families are invited to march in the parade with us.
Wear your Countryside shirt and any other fun St. Patrick's Day apparel you can find.
Details about marching in the parade will be coming home in a flyer and also emailed to you this week!
 | The parade is one mile. It begins at Tryon and 9th Streets. It marches down Tryon to 3rd Street where it makes a left. It ends on the corner of 3rd and Caldwell Streets. |

Countryside is hosting two high school exchange students this year:
Sara Mirantes, 11th grader from Spain Mathilde Jondeaux, 10th grader from France
We are so proud of our students and our families for way they have welcomed Sara and Mathilde into our school community.
We hope to continue hosting foreign exchange students every year. If you would like to be a host family or just learn more about it, please contact Shari Hatem at sharihatem@countrysidemontessorischools.org. Shari is the official Countryside representative for our host program which is affiliated with ASSE.

Greenway Clean-up Day

Let's keep our Greenway beautiful!
We'll start behind the MC campus at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 23 and walk a couple of miles in either direction picking up trash and debris.
Please bring your own garbage bags and gloves.

Our annual Silent and Live Auction is just 60 days away!
This year's theme is Black and White -- with a special salute to the Kentucky Derby (which is also on the same date).
