To use the Beatles lingo, Illumination Come Together "was the ticket to ride!" Featuring Hawaii's own Beatles tribute band, Day in the Life, Come Together was a fun filled, rocking party in support of Assets School. And support Assets School it did. Including our Call for Donations, Illumination, Come Together raised over $180,000 for our tuition assistance program.  Furthermore, John Morton, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, announced the recent decision and signing of the paperwork to purchase the land on which Assets School is currently located.  Yes, Assets School will have a permanent home!

Everyone had rave reviews for the creations by our chefs whose delicacies were scrumptious and beautifully displayed. Our chefs included Alan Takasaki of Le Bistro, Goran Streng of Tango Contemporary Cafe, Jacob Silver of Hawaii Convention Center; JJ Luangkhot of JJ Bistro & French Pastry, Arnaud Jager of The Pacific Club,  Ernesto Limcaco of Y Hata & Co., Elmer Guzman of Poke Stop, D.K. Kodama of Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Fred De Angleo of The Grove and Harold Beltran of BluWater Grill.

Thanks to our guests whose great aloha for Assets School was felt throughout the evening. We are delighted to know that our community agrees that our children are our greatest asset!
