Haas named Volunteer of the Year

At your Chamber's Annual Meeting and Volunteer Celebration this past week, Cindy Haas of Gateway Bank was honored as the 2013-14 Volunteer of the Year.  Cindy has been instrumental in years past in the planning and implementation of the Chamber's premier event, The WomEn's Conference.  Now in its 5th year, this program has prompted the creation of The WomEn's Circle, a series of monthly events aimed to be an extension of the Conference.

Additionally, Cindy has participated in a number of different committees and currently holds a spot on the Chamber's Board of Directors.  She was recently elected to the officer position of Chair-Elect and will serve as your Chair of the Board for 2014-15.  Often you will see Cindy at many of our networking events.  Congratulations Cindy, and thank you for your leadership and support!

Committed to business... for YOU.

Did you Know?

When trick-or-treating first became popular in the United States in the 1800s, more children played mischievous pranks than asked for candy. By the 1950s, though, the focus had switched to good old family fun, with sugar-hyped children dressed in costumes. Source
