Committed to business... for YOU.

What do Representatives Atkins, Halverson, Garafalo, Hansen, Masin, and Wills have in common?

Other than the fact that they represent Dakota County Regional Chamber members, they all voted in favor of the House Tax File 1777 which included federal conformity and repeal of the three B2B taxes - both priorities for your Chamber.

What's next?  The tax bill now moves to the Senate for their consideration.  Unfortunately we've heard that some members of the Senate have not yet committed to supporting B2B Tax Repeal and others don't sense the urgency of this issue.

What can you do?  Contact your Senators and urge them to support repeal prior to April 1.  Need contact information?  We can help.  Just give us a call at 651.452.9872.

Senator Jim Metzen, chair of the Senate Commerce Committee held a hearing this past week on B2B Tax Repeal.  Your Chamber along with several Eagan businesses and Mayor Mike McGuire testified to the harmful economic impacts and job losses if B2B isn't overturned.  Thank you Senator Metzen for your leadership on this important business issue.
